For an adventure, I picked out this restaurant in the Italian countryside for lunch along a drive from the coast to MPX airport. For tourists/travelers, it can be challenging to reach because the road becomes small and winding. In fact, I wondered if we were lost because the road got very narrow and the area became remote. You know you arrived when you reach two gates that automatically open as you approach. They are there to keep the livestock from leaving the farm. The restaurant doesn't open until about 12:40 pm. The staff was inviting and helpful even though their English was limited. They do take credit cards. The menu was limited and fantastic. We had the gnocchi and ravioli, both of which were delicious. Their desserts were excellent also. The area is beautiful. The wine they suggested to me was amazing .The locals are fortunate to have such a great restaurant.
We had a wonderful lunch in Cascina Casareggio. The food was fantastic (with a lot of vegetarian options), the place is beautiful and the stuff was super nice. Highly recommended!

Competence, professionalism and above all courtesy of Mrs. Sara Maroni, responsible for the organization and management of events, who advised us and followed us in everything that was necessary for the realization of our wedding.
Last but not least, excellent value for money
We went to this place for the night of San Lorenzo. The site is located at the top of the Schizzola valley and to access it you have to go through a gate and walk 500m to then enter the estate. The dinner was held outside, the decor was very elegant. Varied and refined menu with innovative dishes that are very pleasant on the palate. Staff up to par with the environment. Slightly above average quality-price ratio.
Unfortunately during dinner I encountered some unpleasant anomalies:
The poster on the site stated "wines included" although I later discovered that there was one bottle for every 4 people;
During the service the staff stopped by with an encore even if there wasn't enough for everyone.
In my opinion, in a place of this level these errors should not exist. 👎
On mid-August I went for lunch, I have to believe they came by several times for an encore of all the courses. The varied menu with a meat course and a fish course, all very good.
Personally I recommend this independent place with some shortcomings. 😊

Beautiful location nestled among the Pavia hills. We celebrated our son's graduation with about forty guests. The service was superb, the staff were really friendly and professional, the food was excellent and of the highest quality, every course was delicious, it catered well for both vegetarians and meat eaters, the room for the event was perfect. We were satisfied with every request made, even last minute ones. Beautiful outdoor space for everyone, which we were able to enjoy thanks also to the splendid sunny day. The place is fantastic, Lucia and Sara but also Mr. Fisogni (whom I thank very much for his patience and kindness) could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Well done! I highly recommend it as a venue for parties, events and meetings. A memorable day. And great value for money!

We stayed one night, had an excellent dinner and delicious breakfast. Excellent service.
It is a suitable place for a short stay, for a lunch or dinner or for an event: immersed in a very isolated and very green valley. The structure is made up of several buildings. The restaurant and garden are magnificent and very well looked after. The spacious rooms with a nice bathroom, unfortunately a little too hot in the season we were there, I would recommend a ceiling fan.
However we had a very good time, good value for money.
